Hummus

A creamy dip made by blending cooked chickpeas with tahini, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil. Store-bought hummus is excellent and shelf-stable, but homemade versions let you control the garlic and lemon balance. Serve at room temperature with a drizzle of olive oil and a sprinkle of paprika or sumac.
